(8.5 x 11 inch or A4). Each page should be numbered, and you should show all
your work. Please do not use red ink. Homework may not be
submitted electronically.

The course grade will be determined using the following weights:

Copying and submitting solutions posted on the internet is academic misconduct. Copying and submitting another student's solution or a solution from a solution set distributed for another course is academic misconduct. Any case of academic misconduct will be referred immediately to the Dean of Students of the Physical Sciences Division.
In this course, you are allowed and encouraged to discuss course material and homework assignments with each other, but you must work out and write up the solutions to the homework assignments individually. Solutions to homework problems must reflect your understanding of the ideas and must be your own work. DO NOT COPY a solution from a written source or from the internet.
