Assignments should be written out neatly on standard sized paper (8.5 x 11
inch or A4). Each page should be numbered, and you should show all
your work. Please do not write in red ink. Homework may not be
submitted electronically.

The final grade will be determined using the following weights:
University policy prohibits academic misconduct. Any case of academic
misconduct will be referred immediately to the Dean of Students of the
Physical Sciences Division.
In this course, you are allowed and encouraged to discuss the reading
material and the assignments with each other, but homework
assignments should be worked out and written up by each student
individually. Exchanging solutions to homework problems is not
allowed. Copying homework solutions from other students' papers
is forbidden. Infractions will be dealt with severely.
