My GrADS work involves being the Globus liaison and helping to distribute the application.
I have a list of software versions and other items needed to be on the GrADS testbed but this is listed at a semi-official site at The ISI version of the GrADS testbed plan
I also have a Unix shell script to make all of the authentication keys for the gradsXX login accounts (where XX is a number from 1 to 20).
In order to use the PES system modules as services on separate machines, we will use SOAP. There is a demo of doing this using the Idoox system . Note, howeer, that Idoox has pulled its support of the C/C++ version, so we will no longer use this system. Indiana University, under Dennis Gannon, has a C++ implementation of SOAP. No URL is available at this time.
I am heading up the effort of running Cactus in the GrADS architecture. As a first step, I have documented how to install Cactus for the GrADS Demo, and I have some notes on the architecture.
There is also a page with documentation of the UofC participation..
And a timetable for the GrADS Cactus development
Here is a article about Cactus
