I am a PhD student in the theory group of the department and my advisor is Lance Fortnow, and I also work with Umut Acar from the Toyota Techonlogical Institute at Chicago, (TTI-C). I have received my Bachelor's degrees from the Department of Computer Engineering and Department of Mathematics at Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey. I have a Master's Degree from the department in Chicago. My research interests are online algorithms, combinatorics and self-adjusting algorithms. Apart from research I am a member of Middle East Music Ensemble and I am playing percussion in the ensemble.
