Grid Searcher Project

Grid Searcher (GS) is a Java-based, cross-platform front end to help with Grid users to access, search and select the Grid resources that satisfy the requirements of the Grid applications.

The primary goals of this project are:

  • To make Grid architecture and components transparent to the application users
  • To provide a complete, integrated view of Grid resources distributed in one or more virtual organizations
  • To create an easy-to-use interface for resource search and selection
