eXene
What is eXene?
EXene is a multi-threaded X Window System
toolkit written in
Concurrent
ML (CML).
EXene was written by
Emden Gansner and
John Reppy,
with contributions from Daniel Wang and Thomas Yan.
Downloads
EXene is distributed as part of the
SML/NJ
system.
We recommend using SML/NJ Version 110.42, which can be downloaded from
here.
Documentation
Manuals
These manuals are old, but are still the best description of the
eXene APIs.
Most of the changes that have happened since these were written are
changes to the widget library.
The CML FAQ
is a useful source of information on CML related issues.
