CMSC 15100 Lab - Grading Policy

Labs

All Lab assignments are to be done in pairs. You may find some helpful ideas in working with pairs on how to make this time productive and beneficial.

All work must be submitted via the drop box at the end of the lab session.

Attendance in the Lab session is mandatory. If you must miss a Lab for the week contact me, kaharris, or your professor, in advance to schedule a make-up.

Grading Standards

Grades will be assigned in the range 0 - 3, based on the following standards (listed in order of importance):

You will notice that following design patterns established by the course is the most important criterion for doing well. You will get credit for this, even if your programs do not properly run. The amount completed is the least important criterion for doing well, and it is possible to recieve the highest score by establishing a high quality in the work you do complete.
