About me

I am a second-year computer science major in the college. Whenever I can, I use knorby as a username. There is some actor in hollywood who I have seen use it, and there a few other random instances of people using it, but otherwise, knorby is probably me, at least with anything related to computers. I am originally from the weird town of Oak Ridge, TN, home to Oak Ridge National Laboratory and a nuclear weapons plant.

I am the co-chair of the UofC chapter of the ACM. I am also involved with the Ryerson Astronomical Society, and I have some involvement with the ACLUofC. I also work in the Mac and Linux Lab, which I consider as being somewhat in line with a club.

I am big fan of Python, which I do just about everything with. XEmacs is my editor of choice; ask me about it, and I will go off for a bit about how why I believe it be better than GNU emacs (emacs vs. vi is matter of personal philosophy). I use Linux primarily, with a preference towards Debian-based distros.

I am also generally a good guy.
