The 1995 Leinenkugel's Beer Skits

Well, it's over. After weeks of careful preparation, hours getting our hands on vital props and clothes, and scores upon scores of exacting rehearsals, we went on stage before the entire department and got into a water-gun fight.

Most of the scripts are on-line in someone's account somewhere (only the writers of the "Mr. Eckhart" sketch have yet to enter the twentieth century), so I'd be happy to put them up here if there's interest. If you'd like to see something, let me know and I'll find a copy. The "Les Mis" lyrics are below. Also, Kevin Wald has made available one of his pieces, Commutative Algebra 101.

(If you're visiting us from the outside, then welcome to our humble abode. We inhabit a strange, uncanny world, full of in-jokes, strained references, skits that just do not work on paper, and second-year students with too much time on our hands. Look upon our works, and despair.)

Plot Synopsis
Songs

We apologize for not including "One More Year" in our program. The song would have required quite a bit of additional rehearsal time, and we didn't get our hands on the sheet music until a couple of days after Beer Skits. Besides, seven of us doubling up on parts with an organ in the back of the room might have somewhat dampened the dramatic effect of the song.
