Climbing in the Cordillera Blanca

In June of 2002, Chris, Scott, and I (Mark) went to the Cordillera Blanca mountain range in northern Peru to climb. Over our 20 days we had a wealth of beautiful, taxing, engaging, and valuable experiences, culminating in an ascent of the beautiful Alpamayo. A great deal of planning anticipated this trip; our hope in these pages is to give other parties with similar ambitions an opportunity to learn from our experiences, good and bad, and so help them to plan their own.
