• Efficiency:

  • Tseq is the runtime of the best sequential algorithm on the fastest machine,
  • Tpar is the runtime of the parallel execution,
  • powi the relative speed of processor i as compared to the fastest,
  • Si the slice of time used on processor i to solve the problem.
