I am a doctoral student at the University of Chicago and a member of the Computer Science's Distributed Systems Laboratory. In the summer of 2008, I received my M.S. degree. My current research focus is on Grid resource selection for urgent computing.

Prior to Chicago, I had spent my previous 25 years living primarily in Eugene, Oregon. I received a B.S. from the University of Oregon in 2002 with a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science. And, in June of 2005, I earned an M.S. in Computer Science from the U.O. with a research focus on parallele performance tools and component computing.
