I am a doctoral student at the University of Chicago and a member of the Computer Science's Distributed Systems Laboratory. I will complete my Ph.D. in the summer of 2011. My current research focus is on urgent computing, which is the domain deadline-constrained scientific simulations and models. For more details, please see my research interests.
Prior to coming to the University of Chicago in 2005, I earned a M.S. from the University of Oregon. During my graduate work at Oregon, my research focus was on performance and analysis tools for parallel and high-performance computing. I received a B.S. from the U of O in 2002 with a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics and am a graduate of the Robert D. Clark Honors College.
