The course will focus on techniques for solving PDE's using the
In the first part of the course, the basics of modeling via PDEs will be covered.
After that, students will develop case studies that will involve
reading research papers,
writing FEniCS code, and
making presentations of results.
Prerequisites are minimal:
multidimensional calculus, linear algebra, ODE's.
no previous experience with PDE's (or other analysis) is required
