Resources

NSIT Unix Tutorial: A good reference on how to use machines on how to use UNIX and Linux operating systems. You should especially be familiar with Section 3.
- It's useful to learn a screen-based text editor such as vi or emacs.
Lab policies
Seating is limited in the MacLab so by default you should attend your assigned lab section. If you would like to attend the other section then email the lab TA first to make sure there is space.
You may discuss the lab with other students but all code submitted should be your own work.
You should attend the lab in person in the maclab. Labs may be completed at home with prior permission from the lab TA.
