HW (24% total)

Statistics posted: March 11. Slightly updated March 13, 2am (some categories rose by up to 3 points). Compare with green numbers on your graded homework returned on March 11.

Number of students: 17

          w w/o bonus
max 353 302

best 328 289
uq 314 281
median 286 267
lq 266 249

Note: The bonus points include bonus received for noticing significant errors on the web site (one student received 8 bonus points, two others 3 and 2 bonus points, respectively) plus 1 bonus point received by a student for a particularly elegant solution which was the shortest and yet the most complete. This is no paradox; long solutions tend to dwell on unnecessary details or make simple things look complicated while overlooking conceptually significant points. -- These unusual types of bonus points are not included in the "max with bonus = 353" figure.
